    I’ve been working on making the lobby nicer and more interesting to explore, there’s still more to do but it’s looking more presentable.

    my todo list grows ever larger, never ending.

  • Check in

    Just checking in with how Hoistway is going.

    The game has full support for translations now, which is nice.

    I wanted to make the combat more exciting, so every weapon now generates with a secondary attack which is charged with the basic attack, Weapons have multiple options per type and can be based on attacking defending or movement.

    Items generate with an effect, which can interact with other equipment, change how attacks work or change the players stats.

    My general plan to playable is:

    • weapon right clicks
    • Item effects
    • levels
    • cutscenes
    • online stability

    I’d like to release a section of the game for free, like a prologue, as is popular currently. I wouldn’t expect that this year though.

    Found some old update titles from a game I was working on once, it was open for people to play but had a grand total of two (yes, two! whoa!) players.

  • A tower to defend

    For a little while now I’ve been working on a tower defense first person shooter with randomised loot.

    You place your turrets, equip your gear and fight waves in a story mode with 2 players or a infinite mode with 4 players

    Still really early though, I have a few ideas written down for the theme and story.
